Chris believes a world comprised of people that exploit their own resources and destroy their own habitat tells us they have lost their own fundamental connection with Nature. His priority in tackling the root cause of this civilization malaise is in making visible and tangible just how magical our connection with Nature can be…and why.

As a visionary leader in the field of environmental advocacy and ocean conservation, Chris founded the Green Promise Initiative, to drive change starting in his native Laos, Nigeria, and more recently stepped into serving as an ocean literacy educator and capacity development coordinator at the UN Ocean Decade Endorsed Early Career Ocean Professional (ECOP) Africa Node.

And the cultivation of indigenous ecosystems and meaning-making practices to restore biodiversity, rewild rural areas, return to small scale diverse farming…all to save soil and green cities…is an evergreen aspect of ??

Chris rolls his Nature Loving DNA, Ecovangelism, and International Environmental Advocacy, into his greatest talent of Covenor spurring action in communities, schools, orgs, businesses, and government through hands on workshops and quick start learning formats.

He delights in imagining bewildering, yet catalyzing, ways of getting people to see remarkable things about their environment along with a desire to make it better.

With a background in wetland ecology and environmental science, Christina has pursued her passion for applying and cultivating the principles of Natural Living Self-Organizing Systems to Human Groups in order to help them thrive, adapt, maintain resiliency, and ultimately be part of promoting regenerative and coherent futures at a grander scale.

By building dynamic network and systems maps, knowledge ecologies, and design human-centered software, she makes effective strategic options more visible such that teams see their way through tangled wicked problems to the opportunities. She also holds depth of experience in product strategy/design, team management, UX design, and data science.

As co-founder of 3 successful innovation-driven cooperatives, she prioritizes team health for ensuring sustained connection and high-performance of which she has written much about. An innate complexity wrangler at heart, Christina believes that the smartest person in the room…is the room…the collective plus one force…and is deeply influenced by Fritjof Capra’s Systems View of Life and Jeremy Lent’s Patterning Instinct.  LinkedIn
